I bought a usb 3.5" drive last year, just to have one, in case I need it... though I no longer have any floppy discs at all, and half my computers don't even have cd/dvd/br drives.
I keep a 5.25" drive and interface card in a plastic bag... just in case. Last time it was used was about 7yrs ago to migrate a friends data forward. Old skool for sure!
