I'd ideally like to present students with an open source dev workflow that allows them to experiment easily with the javascript/typescript ecosystem on their local machine. The ability to code, compile, test, publish to a local container environment is important. The ability to push to git and publish to the cloud is equally valuable. Ability to collaborate in real time is a wishlist item, but not critical. I've been wading through all of the latest IDEs, editors, container and kubernetes environments, but I'd love to hear what you are using in practice!
