My family and I have made the decision that we want to move to San Francisco. I want to find a job there and work on a new challenge. My real passion is for Rails and other open source technologies. I've been a speaker at a couple of conferences and I have contributed some to open source. My work experience for the past few years is mostly .Net which I no longer want to have much involvement with.
My plan is to puts loads of code up on github and and possibly travel there to network.Is there something else I can be doing? Are the odds stacked against me?
