A browser needs to be trustworthy and transparent; anything that isn't fully Open Source is simply not fit for purpose.

Just use Firefox.

But, the Chrome does have better UX than Firefox.

The assumption is that chrome is evil, without justification. Regardless, what about chromium (open source, free)? http://www.chromium.org/

nope there are plenty of other options but you know what, i dont really care, maybe im evil too but im not going to bother switching

History of people attempting to charge for using a browser?

history of people preferring 'free' products with ads/tracking over paid software. browsers, email clients, encyclopedias, you name it.

No, use Vivaldi.
