Hoping to get some help for myself and perhaps this benefits others in similar situations.
My academic background is CS bachelors and masters (not PhD). I've spent past few years working on a distributed SQL engine; have enjoyed my work so far, but have been wanting to move to a different area for the past year or so. I'm in the process of changing my job, and I'm highly intrigued by the infrastructure part of AI/ML, and I'm trying to find companies/teams which work in this space (i.e. efficiently deploying and running AI/ML pipelines, algorithms at scale). I do have some academic background in ML (one grad course + internship about 7 years ago); I know things have evolved quite a bit, but I'm also confident that I'll be able to catch up fast.
Would you have any recommendations on companies or teams where I should explore opportunities? Thanks in advance!
