I'm not aware of Peter Singer's work, but from my reading of Scott Alexander and Steven Pinker, as well as rebuttals to their writing, I'm not sure I'd consider them authoritative.

I'm not aware of Peter Singer's work, but from my reading of Scott Alexander and Steven Pinker, as well as rebuttals to their writing, I'm not sure I'd consider them authoritative.
