A 16% range improvement is respectable. What’s more interesting is perhaps how they managed to lower the manufacturing cost.

Automated rolling with fewer steps?

The whole presentation is absolutely worth the watch, they go into plenty of details about how they're reducing the manufacturing cost around all aspects of the battery by a whopping 56% per kwh.
