I bought one brand 2 days ago. You need to look hard and not want the latest image quality/biggest size.

I got a Samsung N5000 43" LED [1], 1080p, dumb as hell, boots in less than a second. Got it for 330 CAD$ before taxes.

I try to be modest and consume less.

I prefer using a Chromecast.

I am on an old Samsung must be at least a decade old and has zero internet connectivity. I really like my tv but lately the newer screens really just pop out the 1080 just doesn't cut it for me any more.
