Ask HN: What good or service had unusual price changes during the pandemic?

Many things seemed to go up in price. Well at least on amazon they did. Most notable was workout equipment. Dumbbells I bought a year before pandemic are up about 50%.

In general we are finding anytime we put something in our Amazon basket, and do not buy it, the price goes up within a few days. Maybe they are playing games with us...
