My understanding is that a requirement is to be hosted in mainland China and to be resident (or to be a Chinese citizen) or, for a company, to have a registered business entity in mainland China.
That's true, but it also seem thats there's some options to navigate around it, like using proxy companies such as twinova. I'm curious whether there are some living people who accomplished this in any way.
