Since the start of the pandemic, most of my favorite musicians have held out on releasing new music due to not being able to tour. This has proven to me more than any strike ever could that art is a necessity we should support.

I've seen some great innovation myself - artists that seem to be much more active and reaching out more to their audiences with things like streaming very successfully.

You probably can already support the artists you like - Bandcamp, Patreon, buying existing back catalog, etc.
