I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up security on a VPS. I don't actually like AWS and I'd like to stay away from Azure and Google too. ...with AWS I can't make it a day without screaming at the top of my lungs about something or other. Plus I'd like to keep politics out of my business and the big three have shown they can't do that.
Really I just need to host static html files with Web API for occasional basic web server functionality.
