I couldn't imagine living in a country where one of the main thoughts going through my head in the event of a lethal poisoning was "If I didn’t have health insurance, would I go to the emergency room knowing I was just about to wipe out my cash reserve". Free healthcare really is something we take for granted I suppose. Though also, how deeply stupid to just pick unidentified wild mushrooms and eat them - even experienced mushroom experts won't do that.
