Thanks for letting me know what this hideous pseudo-art trend is called.

Good God, that stuff is ugly, and a little bit creepy in the bargain.

It's the worst trend since the nasty pseudo-woodcut clip art that used to come with Microsoft Office products.

A smidgen better than stock imagery of a business person pointing at a file in a meeting.

Mmm... not for me. The distorted human bodies in this style are unsettling to me in an uncanny valley way. These images generate literal revulsion.

The mileage of others probably varies. I mean, obviously it does, or so many sites wouldn't be using the style. But for me it's just hideous.
