I did think one of the replies was intersting:

"What is going on is that thousands of "reporters" blame FB for the collapse of their industry, and this is payback. Forget the truth, they want blood. Fortunately they have spent a lot of time discrediting themselves so nobody believes them anymore anyway."

It does seem worrying how coordinated they seem in their attacks this time. I guess FB has made one too many enemies, and we're about to see how much influence old media has over the people.

Facebook could disappear tomorrow without improving the lot of newspapers. The disappearance of classified ads has much more to do with their difficulties.
