Without HN this book probably wouldn't have existed. In 2013 I wrote a blog post that received quite the attention here [0]. Because of that I got the idea to expand it into a book and it allowed me to convince O'Reilly to be the publisher. Also, many of the tools I cover in the book I first found out about here.
