I store photos and video on a Synology NAS in my home and vault to Glacier once a week.

However I recently realized that if I wanted to get the images back out of Glacier it would be ridiculously expensive. I’m looking for another option, hopefully something that is cheap and reliable.

is it expensive because of huge number of API calls? What if achieve files, store them per 100G, or 1G, is it going to be cheaper?
