Ask HN: Does your traffic slow down in the summer?

Looking to survey my fellow startup/project hackers who monitor their traffic year round.

Does your traffic slow down during the summer? Or better yet, do seasons change the amount of traffic your site gets?

I am most interested in those who host projects that aren't affected by industry (IE. obviously if produce you produce tax tools you would see an influx during that time.)

When CTO at the startup (not e-commerce) of my wife, traffic went down in the last quarter. The first time that happend we were very afraid. Then it doubled YoY in January (and did that for years). First and second quarter were the strongest, summer and especially forth quarter were down.

I noticed a peak at the start and end of year and a low point mid year. Most of the stuff I've monitored were weight loss apps, apps for writers, meditation apps, so I figured it was a new year's resolution thing. For other industries, it might be related to the Christmas sales and 11.11.
