Greek gov introduces Digital ID and driving license as mobile app (opens in new tab)

I find this quite troubling security-wise. There is no transparency around the implementation. Is it cloud based service? Is item managed locally by the Greek government? Who undertook the project, what are the measures they took for avoiding counterfeiting.

I would avoid using it.
