This is a fun reminder to me that Snap still has a hardware department that is on its fourth iteration of glasses, this time with a display and AR capabilities.
Apparently the AR is used to do...something? I dunno, the examples shown on the marketing pages don't show much of a value proposition to me.
I'm amused that perpetually unprofitable tech companies like Snap throw away money on products like this where "moonshot" would be giving them too much credit.
