Depends on the age as well. Tinder overcharges guys over 30. Platinum is €120 per year for me.

I’m pretty sure that this is illegal in the EU.

A lot of things that are illegal in the EU still fly until the offending company is taken to court and order to pay damages and mend things.

Having laws is one thing, enforcing them is another.

Just look at the huge number of websites that are not GDPR compliant.

Actual question: if you do not make a product or service available in the EU, does your globally accessible marketing website need to be GDPR compliant?

I think one of the apps got tagged for age-based pricing in california, had to pay damages or a fine
