From the developer's notes, it looks like they took some time to design the UX to better support controllers with this port.

From what I read elsewhere, steam deck support was much more limited - meaning the experience should be very different on Switch vs. steam deck.

On the Steam Deck, you're relying on custom bindings. It will work, though it's not a tailored experience.

Hoping the devs will make the controller bindings available on the PC too.

EDIT: That said, you can hook up a keyboard and mouse to the steam deck...
