Yeah I struggle with this meme. Have been in the industry for nearly 25 years at this point. Never once have I had a colleague who straight up couldn't code. I've seen a number of crappy devs, but they could at least do soething.

And much more often than not, the underlying issue for those crappy devs was less their lack of coding skills and more general lack of critical thinking skills. Making bad decisions when faced with a choice, that sort of thing
