AI is not good at telling jokes. When it's funny, it's because it says something almost human but clearly missing something, in a surreal and hilarious way.
Humor (both making and understanding jokes) is gonna be the final obstacle to AI passing the Turing Test. If it ever nails that down, it'll only be after imitating humans in every other way.
