I work in a startup, managing a small team. I also end up interacting with customers, either to communicate product timelines, or apology emails in case something goes wrong.

I'm looking to improve the precision and directness of my emails.

Any good books or other recommendations?

I work with many people and teams and vendors.

About 20% of them can listen.

About 10% are able to listen and reflect back the meaning.

About 5% are able to create space for deeper listening and connect authentically.

A few invite creativity from others - honestly - and follow the best direction.

Apart from these, the framework of Nonviolent Communication is very helpful.
