From consumer’s perspective they don’t care where it came from. In commercial setting(read: 99%) it’s always get stuff cheaper and better. AIGC fits both, the only better options is run faster than the waves and hope it don’t take you(i.e. “learn to code”)

I fully believe that once AGI gets in the hands of the common people, then internet communication will stop being as popular. At least communication in the form of talking to strangers online. It will be too hard to determine if you are actually talking to a real person or not. And people also may feel too worried that their likeliness will be used by an AI model to generate deepfakes of them.
