I thought you could have inexpensive laptop stands that also raise the keyboard a bit to the same effect. Try one, they are amazing. And they improve the airflow, too.

For proper ergonomics you want the keyboard at elbow level and the top of the screen at eye level.

I use a laptop stand at my desk, but a laptop chin helps to not bend the neck so much when the laptop is on a… lap.
