Tell HN: Use your technical knowledge to free knowledge resources for humanity

HN community, why not use your technical knowledge (for non-programmers like me) to create bots/websites/easy to install applications to access the growing pool of knowledge? Why not democratise libraries for children? Why play ball to vested commercial/capitalist interests?

I hope this is taken in earnest!
