If it wasn’t for employment opportunities using the proprietary service, I wouldn’t notice the outages because my own code was migrated elsewhere after the forge was acquired–but until these companies migrate, mirror, and/or distribute, I run into it regularly, especially located in Asian time zones. It’s not uncommon to run into issues trying to contribute to the nixpkgs project due to down times. SourceHut is usually down when they scheduled it to be down for maintenance.
