Factory built will beat site built every time. but there are some massive "buts" here. A liquid sodium fast reactor is a simple design. It is not novel, which is good because research reactors have been built to prove this technology, like the new Argonne National Labs THETA reactor. BUT, previous reactors of a related design have all had problems, like sodium leaks and fires, and none has yet evolved into a commercially viable product.
