I've just started learning to code this past year. nineideas.net is my first complete full-stack app. I followed the MDN docs and the Odin Project for most of my learning, so this is a classic MERN app.

The point of this app was to create something to replace passive/compulsive information consumption (HakerNews, Reddit, various newsletters) with something more constructive. I'm open to any suggestions about how to improve the site, find users, or tackle this issue in another way. I think I underestimated how difficult it would be to make something that is a compelling daily practice. Simple gamification doesn't seem nearly enough.

You do not need to create an account to use the site, but creating an account lets you save and share your lists. No email address required to create an account. No analytics.
