Please don't post archive links as top-level URLs*. It's important that the original source show up as the URL at the top, and for the original site to show up as the domain.
HN allows submissions from paywalled sites if and only if there's a workaround (this is in the FAQ: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html). In that case it's best to post the original URL and for users to contribute workaround links in the thread.
