I created a rating benchmark for restaurants and hotels in each state of the US scanning over 3 million reviews from Google. You can see 2 geo charts with the states with the best food and the best accommodation
We started with the approach of doing it regularly and we created an automation using Python and Selenium. In terms of scanning the entire process takes about 2 weeks.
