Light Mode over Dark Mode

I use dark mode, when it's dark outside and in the daytime I switch to light mode. That just feels natural to me.

I remember about 15 years ago I found myself feeling weird because I wanted everything dark, and the consensus was that everything should be kept light. Sometime in the period 2010-2020 that swung around in the other direction. I don't remember exactly when, but I remember being surprised when more darkmode started coming into UI, in contradiction to the expectations I saw set earlier.

Don't sweat it. You do you. There are fashions, but there are also middle fingers ;)

It's not like someone else is gonna use your IDE to program. Do whatever you want dude
