Production software outlasts its original teams, and someone will need to maintain it.

Companies touting automated software development ought to mention how they handle the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). That should include decommissioning.

Some other things we may take for granted that AI could also help deliver with the service: documentation, tests, commented code, and example usage.

Your point about the decommissioning is right, this is a hard topic that should be teach for sure.

I am a little skeptical with documentation fully written by AI will not became too verbose
