I think the problem is that you would have to elaborate on what "better than C" means. And python is pretty simple, although I must admit I don't like white space being significant.
In just this one post, you used the word "better" a lot. But how would it be better?
I already really like C. And c++. And python. And javascript. And several others.
My question, then, would be what do you think you can offer that they don't already address?
Granted, I may not be your target audience. But I, as someone who is also currently designing a programming language, am curious as to what your thoughts are for your language.
