This reads like a corporate phishing email. Probably came from jeff.bezos@therealamazon.com

If it was a phishing email it would have a signal username, not just "use signal"

AFAIK Signal usernames didn't exist in 2020.

Well, considering an outbreak of destroyed evidence seems to be happening in the courts, with some accountability hopefully it will be an unwritten law. But of course Congress could also get involved.
