Tell HN: YC Hired Wire Fraud Soliciting. Ask: Best Way to Report to Authorities?

Someone scraped the YC HN Who Wants to be Hired page for engineers, to send cold email spam to solicit engineers to engage in the job of committing real wire fraud, which is a very serious felony.

Moreover this seriousness may not be understood by many engineers who are non-native speakers of English when they read the details given and they also may not know about the felony category.

What is the best way to report the wire fraud guy to YC or dang, for adding a notice to the monthly announcement, and to relevant authorities?

Isn't that just what the average spam email these days does? Scrape emails and try to engage in fraud? I'm not saying it's ok but....

It seems kind of a waste of time to hunt one particular instance of this down. I can give you the emails in my spam folder, it's full of these kinds of people.
