The top priority is picking games you're familiar with; you almost never want to play a randomizer of a game you've never played normally. That does
not mean you need to be an expert at the game, but you should probably be able to beat the game with more-or-less 100% completion.
Beyond that, personally I'd suggest Super Metroid or any Zelda game.
