Can we like ramp up the penalties for corporations please!!! Are they based on hard set numbers or percentages or were they written when companies weren't worth billions and billions? I am sick of seeing absolute nothingness in terms of punishments to corporations.

Also based on the article, the Italian authorities haven't "seized" anything yet, just put a provisional fine, which I'm guessing Amazon will appeal.

  Italy has imposed a provisional fine of €121 million ($131 million) on the US retail giant Amazon on suspicion of tax evasion. 

  The responsible police authority in Milan justified this with the results of investigations by the public prosecutor's office, which indicated that Amazon diverts large sums from taxes by assigning shipping orders through an intricate system to subcontractors. 

  This is said to be associated with the systematic exploitation of workers, the authority said.
