Social Game Idea: A prize pool runs forever

I got a crazy idea:

- there's a prize pool holding $10000 - anyone who put $0.1 into it will win the full prize, if nobody else participate within 5 min

All logic in an open-source smart contract.

What will happen?

It won't make any money but might gain a lot of traffic, worth building?

I saw very similar things on TRX and SOL before. Not sure how they ended, but it didn't appear to be very popular.

If you actually out 10k and no fee to get that back it surely would be a bit different

I'm thinking about some promotional events on X like this:

If you put money into the pool you become a sponsor; If you follow a sponsor's X you can participate it for free.
