I agree, it's super close to the classical OSM style, but some things are missing, e.g. roads that are currently planned or in the building phase.

Yes, buildings under construction aren't there yet either. OMT is OpenSource though, so you can make a pull request: https://github.com/openmaptiles/openmaptiles
