Tech CEOs don't seem to realise just how anti-human their AI fanaticism is (opens in new tab)

do link me to some of these comments, I'm interested in the defense. I usually see people being upset over AI, OR people posting pro-AI articles and ghosting or downvoting without engaging.

As somebody who runs a company, I would be more worried about people relentlessly copying my product. If AI will become widely available, then we are not talking about a jerk copying 1:1 what I am doing once in a blue moon and I can sue the guy no problem. I am talking about hundreds of jerks with AI instantly reversing my product and creating copy of what I am doing in mere hours. You can see that suing makes no sense, law has ceased to exist because there are no resources to apply it.

I believe that in the age of AI, being a purely software company will be impossible. All your ideas instantly stolen. Why would I pay for your software product when hundreds of copies are instantly available for free/open sourced?

Wait until you study history and find out that automation in the English textile industry enabled them to rip out and destroy the textile industry of India which led to the destabilization of an entire civilization and ultimately to hundreds of millions of deaths through famine, rebellion suppression and disease over a couple of centuries.
