Have you considered that some of the people that are against AI are worried about a potential loss in the human experience like AI replacing writers, painters and thinkers or at least diluting the human output with a sea of mediocre AI output ?

I'm not saying that they are right or wrong, but you should at least respect their right to have their own opinions and fears instead of pointing to an illusory appropriate content for HN.

I didn't make up that stuff about what HN is for. It's straight from the official HN guidelines. They're linked at the bottom of every page. There is nothing illusory about the lack of appropriateness of this content.

An interesting discussion about issues like that could be had. This ain't it.
