How do you access Yggdrasil? .onion addresses require downloading a web browser.

I access .onion addresses from the same browser I'm typing this comment in. You need a Tor proxy, but other than that it's regular http traffic.

Oh I forgot that running Tor doesn't automatically route traffic through it. My mistake, sorry.

Yggdrasil provides an IPv6 address in a formerly reserved and therefore unused block, so you just run Yggdrasil and visit the IPv6 address.

How do you run Yggdrasil? Explain it like I'm an end-user who has no idea what IP is, much less IPv6.

My point is, how many users would have access to something on Yggdrasil? How many could - what skill is required?

Fair, it's not end-user-ready. But they should support it; it's a cool platform and it doesn't take much work to set up on their end.
