What happened to Jitsi?

They switched to requiring google/microsoft accounts, and now dead to me. Looking at jami now.

This only (but still sadly) applies to the use of the meet.jit.si instance.

If you self host there are no such requirements.

It is still a thing. I used it 2 days ago actually.
