Neil was one of the authors of MUMPS ("Massachusetts General Hospital Utility Multi-Programming System", see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MUMPS), which appeared in 1966 and became one of the most influential technologies in medical information systems, still in wide use today, 60 years later.
