Ive been playing around with Bazzite on an sortof-old laptop. I have not run into any major bugs. There is an oddity when the shell terminal exits in that there is a long suspicious delay. I have not dug into it yet. There are also intermittent random long delays on the OS startup. Bazzite is otherwise fairly responsive and a well structured OS.
Bazaar, the tool that installs by default to manage flatpacks has sexual preference options which is always concerning to me. As a side note it is also a very restrictive set of preferences. I would just leave that stuff out of the OS/apps. I could be wrong but there always seems to be some correlation between apps that have such things and unnecessary drama on their teams that eventually leads to the teams and thus the OS falling apart with time.
I will probably re-image the laptop with CachyOS as I have always been impressed with Arch documentation.
