I built FalseWork to identify transferable structural mechanisms across creative domains—not metaphors, but functional patterns that operate identically across mediums.

The claim: Bitcoin's proof chains, Hofstadter's GEB, and Bach's Art of Fugue all do the same thing—they make infrastructure into content. The mechanism that should be invisible becomes the primary subject.

On infrastructure becoming content: Bitcoin: Hash linkage becomes the defining feature ("blockchain") rather than disappearing into database architecture. The proof mechanism is the innovation. GEB: Recursive self-reference becomes the subject. The book about strange loops is itself structured as a strange loop—form equals content. Bach: Contrapuntal rules become the music itself, not invisible scaffolding. Art of Fugue exposes its own systematic construction.
