Ask HN: Searching for an awesome, small, employee-centric company in Maryland

I currently work for a large company in Maryland supporting the DoD. I'm interested in finding a small employee-centric company where I can have a long-term career. I have a lot of career ambitions, and having worked primarily for large companies it's time to find a home that will foster my ambitions and help me get to where I want to be.

I have somewhat extensive experience in information security, including intrusion detection and incident response, vulnerability assessments, and computer network operations. I have developed multiple security programs and operational teams, and have also contributed directly to products and proposals.

I've trolled job boards, LinkedIn, and other resources and have a list that I've started to churn through, but if anyone knows of any awesome companies flying under the radar I'd be very much appreciative.
